    Nepal Interledger Financial Network (NIFN) Phase I aims to address fragmentation in Nepalā€™s digital payments landscape by building an open, interoperable infrastructure using the Interledger Protocol to enable real-time, low-cost transactions across platforms. By integrating open payment technologies with local financial institutions and cooperatives, the project promotes financial inclusion for underserved communities while establishing a scalable model for open finance in South Asia.
