Program Overview

Interledger on Campus is a mini-grant program offering up to USD $5,000 for student-led university club projects that explore topics including open payments, interoperability, effective digital financial access, and financial health. We are looking to support activities such as hackathons, workshops, webinars, and peer-driven learning experiences.

Applications are open on a rolling basis between March 16 – July 31, 2026. Projects are expected to run for no longer than 3 months and must be student-led, with required institutional support for fund management and project oversight.

What You Need to Know

  • Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis between March 16 – July 31, 2026
  • Priority review for projects in first half of the year
  • Projects are expected to run for no longer than 3 months
  • Projects must be completed by December 31, 2026
  • Activities must be student-led
  • Students applying must have institutional support for fund management and project oversight

Applicants will submit a short application that includes:

  • A completed application form via Submittable.
  • A 2-page concept note
  • A budget and timeline document, outlining key milestones
  • An institutional letter of support from an accredited higher education institution confirming fund management and oversight.
