Nandini Harihareswara is a global expert in Digital Finance, Instant Payment Systems, and Inclusive Digital Economies with 18+ years of experience across 25+ markets in Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe. She is the Founder of Contigo Global LLC, where she partners with governments, regulators, and the private sector to design instant payment systems and financial products that balance profitability with inclusion—especially for women, MSMEs, and underserved communities. Previously, Nandini served as a Country Director at the UN Capital Development Fund, where she led a Digital Finance & Inclusive Digital Economies Program in Zambia and Malawi. She was also a founding member of the USAID Digital Development Division and worked as an Investment Officer at USAID’s Development Credit Authority. Beyond advisory work, Nandini is known for developing immersive learning experiences—including policy simulations and innovation games—that help regulators and industry leaders co-create responsible, inclusive digital finance ecosystems. She holds an MBA and a Master’s in International Trade & Investment Policy from George Washington University, and dual BAs in Psychology and Political Science from UC San Diego.
