Every movement grows through the people who believe in it, contribute to it, and imagine what it could become. For years, the Interledger community has brought together people working toward a more open and inclusive financial system. Now, we’re taking the next step with the launch of Interledger Membership, creating new ways to connect, participate, and help shape the future of our community. And since this program is just beginning, you can help shape what it becomes.
What We’re Building
The internet runs on open standards: protocols no single company owns that let any network exchange information with any other. We believe that money should move the same way, and that when it does, opportunity will follow.
Where You Come In
Membership brings you inside the work and gives you a say in where it goes. Connect with a global community and get special access, opportunities, and recognition for your contributions.
Become a Member for free
Membership is open to people who have connected with us in one of these ways:
Once you’ve done one, we’ll invite you to become a Member.
Become a Member by November 17 to vote on the holiday design contest and receive a custom sticker!
Find Your Path
You don’t have to join the Membership right away to get involved. Whether you are a Member or not, there are four ways to get involved, and most people move between them over time. Start wherever fits, and follow the threads that interest you.

Just Getting Started?
If you are new and not sure where you fit, the best first step is to join the Interledger Slack (opens in a new tab) and introduce yourself. The community spans dozens of countries and a wide range of disciplines. Join us and say hi, the community team is happy to welcome and support your journey.
Alternatively , a great way to learn more about Interledger is by joining one of our Community Calls. It’s the easiest way to find out more about us and the work being undertaken by our community.
They’re hosted on the second Wednesday of each month, at 3:00 PM UTC.
