Terms & Conditions of Attendance

Registration

• All attendees must register for the event through the official registration process. Only registered individuals will be permitted to enter the event venue.
• By registering and participating in the Interledger Summit 2024, participants agree to be bound by these terms.
• By registering and participating in the Interledger Summit 2024, participants agree that the Interledger Foundation may collect and process their personal information for the purposes of the Interledger Summit 2024 including but not limited to processing and administering registrations, sharing participant’s personal information with service providers as necessary to conduct and operate the event, communicating with media and making public announcements.

Privacy

• Processing of your personal information is subject to the privacy policies of the Interledger Foundation and any third parties.
• Participants consent to the use of their name, photo, recording, image or likeness as well in promotion and marketing of the Interledger Summit 2024. 
• For participants who may wish not to be photographed at the event, you can Photo Opt Out at the time of registration. A color-coded lanyard shall be made available to you. Wearing it indicates you have Opted out. 
• Please note attendees opting out will be responsible for notifying the camera operator of their opt-out status and/or removing themselves from any event where photographs/ videography are in use. There will be still photography, videography, or other photographic or electronic means of capturing the ILP Summit.

Attendance Requirements

• Admission: The event organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or ask attendees to leave if they violate any terms or do not abide by the code of conduct. 
• Conduct: Attendees are expected to behave professionally and respectfully in accordance with the code of conduct, at all times. 

Health and Safety

• Compliance: Attendees must comply with all local and event-specific health and safety regulations, including any COVID-19 guidelines.
• Liability: You agree to release, indemnify, defend, and hold the Interledger Foundation and their affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, sponsors and agents, and any other organizations related to the Interledger Summit 2024, harmless, from any and all claims, injuries, damages, expenses or losses to person or property and/or liabilities of any nature that in any way arise from participation in the Interledger Summit 2024 and associated activities provided by the Interledger Foundation, as part of the Interledger Summit 2024 program. 
• Force Majeure: The organizers are not responsible for any failure to perform due to causes beyond their control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.

Governing Law

• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of California.
