Federico started off wearing a sysadmin hat, before moving to web development and founding an online education startup along the way. He now works at TigerBeetle, and keeps himself busy by thinking about operator experience, ensuring the CI is green, and optimizing LSM tree compaction.

At last year's ILP Summit, Joran introduced TigerBeetle - an Open Source Financial Accounting Database for Interledger and a few of the high level principles that guided our design philosophy.
