Esther Mwema is an artist and a digital inequalities practitioner with expertise in internet governance, digital transformation, and innovation. She has over ten years commitment to social impact at the intersection of youth, technology, and gender and holds extensive experience at the United Nations. Esther is an Open Internet leader who prioritises African feminist and decolonial practices. She has been awarded the Mozilla Creative Media Awards, the Interledger Foundation Future|Money award, the C/Change R&D arts and culture awards, among more. Esther graduated with an MSc in Inequalities and Social Science from the London School of Economics.
